FAQs

  • Do you treat verrucae?

Yes, there are several methods that we use. However, the most important part of the treatment is the partial removal of the verruca and any dead skin that is protecting it so that treatment can be as effective as possible.

  • Can you do anything to relieve my heel or forefoot pain ?

Yes we will firstly establish why you have this pain and then offer you appropriate treatment.

  • Can you just cut my toe nails because that is all that needs doing?

Yes, we are happy to cut toe nails to a high professional standard but will also examine and assess your foot as a whole as part of the process.

  • Can you do anything to prevent my toe nails from ingrowing ?

Yes, we have equipment that can shape your nail and prevent the free edge or sides from growing in to the flesh of your toe.

  • Can you advise on, and supply me with, whatever I need to use on my feet to keep them in good condition?

Yes, of course. At the Bingham Podiatry Clinic we very much believe that prevention is better than cure.

  • Can you deal with hard skin and corns?

Yes we can remove hard skin and corns and leave your skin smooth and moisturised.

  • Does the treatment hurt?

Generally, you will experience no pain at all. However, certain procedures may cause minor discomfort.  Any minor operations are always conducted using local anaesthetic.

  • I am diabetic and have been advised by my GP to have regular check ups with a Registered Podiatrist. Would that be you?

Yes.  I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as well as a full member of the College of Podiatry and the British Chiropody and Podiatry Association.
